Packing Presses are hydraulic presses suitable for a variety
of juice extraction purposes such as cold pressed juices and single strength juices such as apple, pear, or berries. The double plate system allows the operator to prepare the next pressing batch whilst the first batch is being pressed. Like the Basket Press, a shredder is used to prepare a mash which is subsequently placed on the pressing plate and stacked in press cloths which are separated by divider plates to apply maximum pressure.
Packing Presses provide the highest yield from almost any ingredient. Packing Presses produce batches and are not continuous extraction presses and are not suitable for citrus and stone fruit, but for most other fruit and vegetables.
